Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Etrailer trailer hitch on a 2022 Nissan Rogue. And this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is, it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that's gonna be visible is the usable part of the hitch, so you get all the function, but, you really don't detract away from the OEM look of the vehicle. And this one is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which means you're gonna have tons of options when it comes to bike racks, ball mounts, or cargo carriers. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip, now this does not come with the hitch, a lotta times when you pick up accessories, though, they'll have a pin and clip included. If you plan on leaving your accessories on your vehicle, whether it be a bike rack or cargo carrier, I recommend picking up a locking version, which we have here available ETrailer. And that way you can leave your accessories on, locked in place, and know that no one's gonna walk away with them. more

And really the only thing that's hanging out is gonna be the business end of the hitch. So you get a great look with all the functionality of your hitch. Now this is an 1 1/4-inch receiver tube opening, so if you already have 1 1/4 accessories, this is gonna work great. Something I will say though, you're limited when it comes to some of the accessories you may wanna pick up. more

This is not included with the hitch, but a lot of times your accessories will come with one. If you plan on leaving your accessories on your vehicle, you might wanna look at a locking pin and clip. That way you can leave your accessories on locked in place and know that no one's gonna walk away with them. We have a rolled style safety chain loop here, nice and open. more

Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is it's a hitting cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're gonna see is the receiver opening and the safety chain loops on your hitch. So you get a nice clean OEM look with all the functionality of having a trailer hitch. Now, this one is an 1 1/4-inch receiver tube opening, so this is a little bit smaller than the standard two inch, so you might be a little bit limited when it comes to ball mounts, cargo carriers, and bike racks. But if you already have those accessories, this is gonna be a great option. Now, CURT, as well as a few other manufacturers, offer a two-inch version of pretty much the same hitch that I would maybe prefer if this is your first hitch and you don't have any accessories. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here at etrailer. Today we have a 2018 Nissan Sentra and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT Class 1 1-1/4 hitch receiver. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Sentra is gonna allow you to do a couple of different things. You can use it to haul bike racks, which is what the owner of ours is doing, a small cargo carrier if you need to get some of that luggage out of the back of your car to make more room inside for more weather sensitive items, put 'em on a cargo carrier so you can go on your trip. Or if paired with trailer wiring for your Nissan Sentra, you can pull small trailers with it. The receiver tube opening will be an 1-1/4 wide by an 1-1/4 tall. more

Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Pathfinder is gonna allow you to tow a small trailer if you add some wiring with it. It'll allow you to haul those cargo carriers or bike racks on the back to free up some of that space inside and put it outside on a rack. Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is it's gonna be a hidden cross tube, so that means this whole portion of the hitch will not be visible, the only thing that you're gonna have that you can see from the back is gonna be your two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is really nice, 'cause you get all the usability, but still a nice clean look. Now, being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening means there's a ton of different options available as far as bike racks, cargo carriers, ball mounts, or whatever accessory you may be loading up, but all of them are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now, this does not come with the hitch, you can pick one of those up here at etrailer, especially a locking one, that's really nice, but a lot of times, your accessories, when you pick those up, will come with one. Now, we do have a rolled-style open safety chain loop here, nice and easy for your standard S-hooks, even a larger clevis-style hook is gonna go on here nice and easy. And speaking of towing, as far as weight capacities go, this one is rated fairly decent, you have a gross trailer weight rating of 3,500 pounds, which is gonna be the weight of the trailer, plus the accessories loaded onto it. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport- Video

Welcome to etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver here on the 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport. A trailer hitch receiver is gonna allow you to really expand what your vehicle's capable of and what you can do with it. The Nissan Rogue Sport is a little more compact for a crossover, but you can fold the second row seats down and you got a nice deep well for a cargo area. But if you have the vehicle full of you, your family or your friends and you wanna take more stuff with you, you either have to go with a roof rack or you can get a trailer hitch and that'll open up a big possibility for all the stuff you can have back here. You also have a nice bracket here so if you do plan on towing, mounting up your 7- or 4-pole makes it nice and easy by being able to bolt it up to this bracket. Now this being a 2-inch by 2-inch is really nice because it's kind of the standard size throughout the industry. You're gonna have plenty of options available, so whatever life throws at you, you'll be able to find an accessory for that. Now, when putting your accessories in place it requires a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the curt trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2015 Nissan Xterra. So this is what our trailer hitch looks like installed on the vehicle here. Now it does sit out from the bumper a little bit, but it has a nice black powder coated finish, which really gives it a great overall appearance, and it's also gonna help protect the hitch from rust and corrosion over time. So adding a trailer hitch to your Xterra, it's gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use a trailer hitch for towing, but let's say we wanted to hit the trails or just simply free up some space inside the vehicle for us and the family on those long road trips, you could easily attach either a hitch mounted bike rack or a hitch mounted cargo carrier. With the Nissan Titan being a full-size truck, just makes sense having a hitch back here, you know that way you can do a lot of different things. I'm assuming a lot of people will probably be pulling some trailers around, and this is gonna give you the attachment point to be able to use a ball mount, and actually hook up to your trailer. Or if you wanna do other things too, maybe you know, if you wanna throw a bike rack back here and go riding, or a cargo carrier for some other type of equipment. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer Class III trailer hitch receiver on a 2022 Nissan Frontier. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. And the great part about it is the cross tube is pretty well hidden underneath the rear bumper, so all that's hanging down is gonna be the receiver end here. So that way you can still hook up your accessories but still maintain a very clean OEM look. You're gonna see it has a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening with a reinforced collar, so that's gonna be great for a number of different accessories, whether it be a ball mount, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. Now, when you put your accessories in your receiver, you're gonna make sure you have a 5/8 hitch pin and clip. more

How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today, on our 2017 Nissan Murano, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com class III two-inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, right off the bat, one of the main questions we get is if when you're using a hitch, if you're still going to be able to utilize that factory liftgate assist. Well, this particular Murano does not come with that option, but I personally had experience putting hitches on these Muranos in the past and if you have that option, then I can assure you it'll work just fine. Now, one of the things that separates this hitch from some of the others is that it is going to be a little bit more hidden. Gonna sit a little bit further back, and it's also going to have a matte black carbide finish, which helps it disappear as a result. more

Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Nissan Juke- Video

Today on our 2011 Nissan Juke, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class One Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see the cross tube is visible, however, it is nice and tucked up close to the bottom of the bumper fascia, so it's not gonna take away from the design of the vehicle. This is gonna be a Class One Hitch, so it's gonna require the use of Class One Accessories. It's gonna be inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, reinforced collar, give it a little extra stability there, hitch pin hole, is gonna be half inch in diameter, it's gonna take a standard half inch pin. Now it does not, the pin and clip does not come with the hitch, however, it can be found here at etrailer.com. more

Now, what we can see, the receiver tube, it has a nice black powder coated finish, which is going to do a great job of helping the hitch hold up to rust and corrosion, being that it is on the underside of the vehicle. etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Nissan Murano- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the "etrailer" trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2020 Nissan Murano. So adding a hitch to your Murano is going to be an excellent idea because it's going to make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use the trailer hitch for towing but if we want to free up some space, inside the vehicle for those long road trips, or we just want to hit the trails, we could easily attach either a hitch mounted bike rack, or a hitch mounted cargo carrier. So, in regards to towing, our trailer hitch here has a "Class 3" rating, which is going to provide us with a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating. That's the amount we can pull outward on the receiver tube. And it also has a 350 pound tongue weight rating, which is going to be the downward force on the receiver tube. more

So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed, but something I really like about this particular one, is that it has a hidden design. So, what this means is the cross tube that attaches to the receiver in each frame bracket, is actually hidden up behind the bumper there, therefore giving us the best overall factory-like appearance. It's also gonna provide the best ground clearance because the receiver tube is tucked up nice and tight underneath the bumper. So if we take a closer look, we're gonna see a durable black powder coated finish, which is gonna help, one, blend in with the bumper well, and two, it's gonna help protect it from rust and corrosion, being that it's on the bottom of the vehicle here. We're also gonna have a nice rounded collar on our receiver tube opening. more
